Restore your Salty Lids aquarium lid with our convenient Aquarium Lid Rescreening Kit. Whether your original screen has become torn, stretched, or damaged over time, this kit provides the replacement materials needed to get your lid looking and performing like it should.

The kit includes a 28" × 48" replacement screen with 1/4" square openings along with 13 feet of grey spline for securing the new screen into your lid.

Unlike replacement screen material that may arrive folded or creased, your screen is shipped rolled in a long protective box. This helps prevent folds and permanent creases during shipping and makes the material easier to work with during installation.

Designed for Salty Lids Aquarium Lids

The generous 28" × 48" sheet can be trimmed during installation to fit your Salty Lids aquarium lid. The included gray spline secures the replacement screen into the existing spline groove.

Simply remove the old spline and damaged screen, position and tension the new screen, install the new spline, and trim away the excess material.

Installation Tool Required

A screening roller (spline roller) tool is required for installation and is not included with this kit. The roller is used to press the grey spline securely into the spline groove while installing the replacement screen.

For best results, we recommend having a screening roller available before beginning installation.
